Sulawesi is Indonesia's 3rd largest island, is shaped like a tropical orchid with its peninsulas forming the petals, and has a cultural diversity of different ethnic groups. There are the mysterious Toraja living in the mountainous highlands, the Makassarese and Bugis groups in the south and the Minahassans (Menadonese) people in the north. Sulawesi offers the complete spectrum for the traveler – spectacular mountains, scenic coastline with white sandy beaches and first class diving, the fascinating culture of the Toraja and dense jungles.

Day 1 - ARRIVAL IN MAKASSAR / DRIVE TO TANA TORAJA (L.D)
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar you will be met by your tour guide. The tour will begin with an approx. 8 hour drive to Tana Toraja passing through the Buginese villages with their traditional wooden houses. Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. After lunch the tour will continue on to Puncak Bambapuang where you will stop for a coffee break while enjoying the beautiful view of Mt. Buttukabobong. Late in the afternoon the will arrive in Rantepao where you will enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 - FULL DAY TANA TORAJA TOUR (B.L.D)
After breakfast, your tour will take you on a full day tour of Tana Toraja. In the morning, you will visit Lemo, famous for the stone hanging graves with their rows of Tau-Tau. Then onwards to Londa the natural graves where the deceased are entombed and Kete Kesu, a traditional Torajan village with the unique traditional Tongkonan houses and rice barns.

Continue to Kambira where you can explore the secret of baby graves. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Rantepao. After lunch the tour continues to Batutumonga highland, famous for its beautiful scenery of blue mountains and green rice terraces. In the afternoon the tour will make its way back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 - TANA TORAJA – MAKASSAR / TRANSFER OUT (B.L)
After breakfast on day 3 the tour returns to Makassar. Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare.  After lunch, continue on to Makassar and transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport to board your flight to your next destination.
